Thomas Kriwat is a graduate from the Faculty of Law, University of Heidelberg, Germany. In 2000 he was appointed Managing Director, Reederei Eugen Friederich GmbH and Mercantile Marine Management. Subsequently, in 2006, he also took over the responsibility of being the Managing Director, Mercantile Shipping Company Plc.
It is under his direction that the Mercmarine Group of Companies was formed. With the vast experience he brings to the organization, today, as the CEO of Mercmarine, he has strategized continual expansion and development for the Mercmarine brand.
Capt. Codipilly obtained his Masters' FG Certification in 1989 from the Commonwealth of Australia. During his tenure at sea he gained experience working on a wide range of vessel types. Since 1993 he served the shipping industry from ashore; first as Crew Manager, Mercantile Shipping Company Limited, for a fleet of 11 multi-purpose vessels, and subsequently in as Director, Mercantile Marine Management Ltd., in 1996.
His hands-on experience in the shipping industry is of immense value to the organization, especially at this juncture of Mercmarine's proliferation in the shipping industry.
Charmaine Peiris is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants London (FCMA), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Her career in finance management spans 30 years through which she held leading financial and administrative positions in international businesses.
Her expertise in financial management is an asset to the Mercmarine Group of Companies where she is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer to the board.
